The story on the year 2020 a decade from now will be told in unison.

A wise man once said and advised to make use of five things everyone possesses before they are taken. Your health before you become ill, your wealth before your become poor, your time before you become busy, your youth before you become old and your life before your die. These are mostly certainties for everyone even though some may not experience it all. We currently live in times when the averagely rich are finding it difficult to continuously feed their family, where the once healthy have gotten sick, and some that once draw breath are no more and but the lockdown and isolation provided extra free time for all. But the real question is, with the priceless new acquisitions, what are we doing with it?

I am taking the next couple of minutes to write this article which many will take some minutes to read and some more to meditate but a lifetime impact on your actions and expected changes is all that matters. Look around you, see the mistakes a lot have made by not saving or preparing for a time like this. Look at those who’ve lost their jobs, those who’re about to if it continues. Look at those who have no plan on whether or not the crisis ends and those who blindly depend on the government. We are what we are today regardless, based on what we have done with our five gifts in the past, some of which we still have. The past only matters a bit now as what really matter now is what we choose to do in preparation for what’s to come.

There are two sides to this coin that is certain, the world is either going to survive the crisis or it won’t. But either way, the tides have turned and things have changed and the changes are here to stay. No one in this lifetime has witnessed this personally. A crisis that affected the whole of the world. A situation that birthed the new beginning for the severely aforementioned industrial revolution. The predicament that leaves people with no choice than to learn, adopt and adapt taking away that freedom to choose away forcefully. Look around, you’re at home utilizing the internet among others to work from home. You transact with those who have learnt to live in the same world as yours and live goes on. Same can’t be told about the companies that aren’t prepared for it, or the staffs that doesn’t posses the right skills to work remotely or with job description that can’t be done otherwise and lost their jobs.

Evolution and disruption, that’s what is taking place. But is it too late to join the train? No, it’s not. You just have to run fast enough and hop on because this train, isn’t stopping for anyone. A global economic meltdown that prevails with no idea of when it will end has put a lot of businesses in crisis. Just how many more bills can be printed before they become worthless papers without productivity to back it up.

Just imagine, that we never really put an end to the crisis, that the virus becomes our friendly malaria and social distancing becomes the norms to stay healthy as economy and productivity needs to be revived or the world will cease to exist.”

We would have successfully created a new world, one which a higher percentage aren’t ready to live in. But will you be ready by then? The race isn’t for the strong anymore but for the smart and prepared. There is no limit to what is about to be disrupted and the disrupted that’s about to be broadly enhanced and adopted. From the food we eat, to the cloth we wear, to the money we spend and our everyday life. We are about to witness the greatest change of our time as a history is about to be written.

Digital contactless blockchain payments will be our new currency, Decentralized marketplace will replace our eCommerce platforms, enhanced covered protective clothing will replaced our wears changing the fashion industry, electronic and remote ways will replace our worships, schools, meetings, business deals etc. Hydroponics and aquaculture will be practiced in virtually every homes, drone deliveries will be automated, flying vehicles will become a norm, smart health diagnostics and treatment will be commercialized, remote jobs will increase but not that of employment but services. The list doesn’t end there. Travel, resorts and tours will be disrupted using VR and AR devices to take people away from home into desired worlds. Hotels will be transformed from stationed to hotels on the move. A lot of things will be 3D printed, houses and cars and lot more. If your work is in line with providing the three basic necessities of life, you’re on the right track as you just need to advance. But otherwise, you have a long way to go.

With reduction in use of crude fuels, the planet will heal which interprets a huge change in our energy industry. Everyone will either buy or sell energy. Government wont be left unchanged as the local and state government will be active than ever with each constituency making more decisions or they cease to exist or matter. Decentralized voting in governance and decision making enhancing the true nature of democracy giving the people the power to make decisions. Most FinTech’s will focus more on tokenizing assets and items as the new tender will evolve from the paper to real valued asset in most nations. But in the midst of all, a new war will be fought in the cyber world and most of those who couldn’t measure up with result to crime to survive.

The coming days will make a lot of CEOs out of the employed and unemployed who’s job aren’t unique nor matter as they are unable to think outside of the box. If you’re the collar job type regardless of the color, then your skills had better be employable else, it won’t matter as the competition is about to increase more than it is. We all went to school, but we were never thought any of these or how to survive in such crisis as no one alive knows or have personal experienced. Now, we are all returning to school to learn new skills, new way of life to enhance our survival instinct. What have you learnt and what more will you learn to be reckoned with in the new world being created?

I chose Blockchain technology among other technologies, while also focusing on farming. What about you?
